Bulgaria Plovdiv International Fall Fair to Provide 800 New Parking spaces
|
A covered parking garage with 650 parking spaces is going to be provided at the International Fair in Plovdiv by the end of September, according to an announcement made Thursday by the Fair.
There will also be an open parking lot with 150 parking spaces.
The outside walls of the covered garage are going to be painted with musical notes while an AN-2 airplane is going to be mounted on the parking's top. The modern design has been chosen to avoid the parking garage's resemblance to a concrete pill-box and to turn the construction into an artistic addition to the surrounding exhibit halls and park.
The new covered parking garage is going to have an electronic registration system and display showing the available spaces, a fire protection system and two elevators.
The first customers to use the new facility are going to be the exhibitors and the visitors of the 64th International Plovdiv Fair, which is going to be held from September 29 to October 4.
During periods when the Fair is not hosting exhibits, the lots are going to be used as paid public parking.
